Tasting Notes

This vintage opens with a deep, complex nose of prune, black cherry jam, warm spice, and tobacco. Full-bodied and superbly structured on the palate, revealing fine, polished tannins with notes of dark cocoa, espresso, and vanilla on a long, savoury finish. A benchmark Super Tuscan at its finest.

Winemaker & Provenance

Produced by Tenuta Tignanello, Antinori in the Chianti Classico appellation, Tuscany, Italy. A blend of Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, aged in French and Hungarian oak barriques. Limited release each vintage.
