Commandeur based in Montfort-
sur-Argens, between the Mediterranean

coast and the famous Gorges du
Verdon. Founded in 1913, the winery
takes its name from the Templar castle
that overlooks the town; a twelfth
century commandery that reects
the region’s deep historical and
cultural roots.
e grapes for this blend have been carefully selected from
vineyards stretching across six hundred hectares, spanning nine
nearby communes, including Montfort-sur-Argens, Carcès,
Correns, Cotignac, Salernes, and Villecroze. is diverse terrain
is made up of limestone-clay soils at an altitude of three hundred
meters above sea level, which gifts warm days and cool nights -
the perfect conditions for crafting wines of exceptional quality.
From its inception, the winery has been a central part of village
life, uniting generations of passionate winegrowers. Today, sixty

producers work together with a shared goal: to produce authen-
tic, elegant wines while preserving the environment for future

generations.
Queen Côtes de Provence Rosé captures the pure essence of
Provence with a rhapsody of wild strawberry and ripe red berry
aromas. e beautifully balanced texture harmonises ripe, supple
fruit with fresh citrus acidity giving a silky creaminess to the mid
palate - an unmistakable sign of a great rosé. e cuvée is
approachable, yet delicate and complex.
