An aroma invasion of raspberry leaf, five spice, toasted nuts and pomegranate molasses. Fresh raspberry and pomegranate dominate the palate, but darker flavours and aromas of wet terracotta and cedar drive the finish. Medium-bodied, there is a dense core of fruit typical of the Old McDonald vineyard, supported by fine, persuasive tannins.
