A lively ruby-red in the glass. On the nose, scents of summer red fruits abound with notes of redcurrants and strawberries. On the palate, lively and fresh with a vibrant acidity leading to a smooth finish.

The farm is run by Iole Rabasco and is situated in the village of Pianella, just 40 km from Abruzzo's Adriatic coast in central eastern Italy. There are 10ha in total, mainly of old vines grown on calcerous and clay soils, and everything is strictly organic. The grapes are hand-picked and sorted and yields are low. No added sulphur is used and only naturally occurring yeasts are employed in the fermentation process. This zesty Rosato is 100% Montepulciano from 40 year-old vines located in the Cancelli district near to the estate, and is raised in stainless steel  tanks before bottling.
