This Chianti Classico DOCG ferments with the skins for 7-10 days, and then goes on to mature for 6 months in steels vats before being placed briefly in large oak casks. The result is a wine of deep, vibrant ruby colour giving typical notes of aromatic violets with hints of cherry and red berry fruits, and a touch of minerality. Assertive with savoury freshness before a delicious finale reprised of fragrant notes of balsamic fruit. This Chianti Classico is best served with traditional Tuscan dishes, especially starters, such as cold cuts and bruschetta, or with grilled pork dishes.
