Medium-bodied and complex on the palate with good acidity leading to a harmonious finish suggesting further black fruit flavours. Great with a baron (double sirloin) of lamb with herbs de Provence, braised goose with chestnut and sausage stuffing or couscous with chick peas, fennel and lemon.
