Rackham Rouge Braucol Domaine Laurent Cazottes, Certified Organic, bright, juicy, cherry and violet, light in alcohol. This lovely red full of rustic French charm is made of local grape variety Braucol. It's bright purple, full of vibrant flavours reminiscent of Gamay, with bold cherry fruit and violet overtones. The wine is certified organic from low yielding vineyards, 40 hl/h and made with as little intervention as possible, using natural yeasts and a tiny smidge (2 mg/l) of sulphite at bottling. The wine is unfiltered and unfined. Try with grilled meats or charcuterie.

Laurent Cazottes is primarily a superb, artisan distiller based in Villeuneuve Sur Vere, Gaillac. As well as making a variety of amazing eaux-de-vies, liqueurs and aperitifs, he also makes a pair of wines from indigenous Gaillacoise grape varieties. These wines are certified organic, made with wild yeast fermentation, and are unfiltered and unfined. They are authentic, easy drinking and refreshing natural wines with great character and purity and at a fantastic price point. We look forward to seeing what else he has up his sleeve!
