Produced mainly from low-yielding, old vine, Monastrell - plus additional Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. All planted at around 700m altitude. Matured for 18 months in French and American oak barrels.
Pronounced nose of black fruits, spice box - with some balsamic, earthy characters. The palate is complex with more concentrated, rich and ripe black fruit flavours and warm spices, backed by fine tannins and great length. A powerful red capable of further development in bottle.
