The Ohiti estate vineyards lie in an inland heat trap on the bed ofthe old Ngaruroro River on gravel soils. This Cabernet Sauvignon is an intensely dark wine in the glass with an abundance of black fruits on the nose. The palate is rich and full with notes of ripe bramble fruits, dried herbs and tobacco with some subtle spicy oak and vanilla from 10 months in oak.
